What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is providing services online to clients who are unable to attend in person.

We can assess and provide therapy using online platforms such as Zoom.

Online therapy is fun and engaging and individually tailored to the client.

It is suitable for speech, language, stuttering, literacy, social skills as well as early intervention.

North Shore Speech Clinic can deliver speech pathology services to children living anywhere in Australia.

What are the benefits of telehealth?

Provides easier access to speech pathology services in cities and remote areas.

Reduces the need for travel.

Allows attendance of therapy when your child is not well enough to attend therapy face to face.

Is Telehealth evidence based?

Some intervention approaches such as Lidcombe Program and the Camperdown Program, have proven to be just as effective as receiving in person treatment.

Recent research has shown positive outcomes for adolescents presenting with traumatic brain injuries and for education and consultation services for parents of children with Autism.
